Throughout Rick’s seven-year tenure with AmerisourceBergen, his range of responsibilities have spanned diverse and critical areas of our business, including business development for legacy Specialty Group, driving growth for our specialty businesses at AmerisourceBergen; helping stand up the manufacturer-facing Integrated Business Development function; and leading and developing our IPN (International Physician’s Network) strategic account management team. Most recently he held the position of VP of Biosimilars and Integrated Business Development, where he forged our industry-leading biosimilar strategy across the enterprise. In addition to his leadership in biosimilars, Rick was responsible for connecting AmerisourceBergen's diverse manufacturer sourcing and commercialization capabilities across all types of products to expand existing manufacturer partnerships and forge new business development opportunities.  

Rick joined the AmerisourceBergen team in 2012, where he held leadership roles within ION focused on fostering relationships through business development with its manufacturer partners and strategic accounts. Before that, he spent 14 years in the pharmaceutical industry gaining experience in account management and sales—including roles at Dendreon Corporation, AMAG Pharmaceuticals and Johnson & Johnson.

Rick holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Organizational Communication and Business from Missouri State University.
